Online respondent panel: privacy policy

1. Who processes your data
1.1. The controller of the personal data of online respondent panel members (the “Panel”) is Informinside Information Media Limited Liability Company (TOV “Informatsiine media “Informinsaid”) (the “Organiser”), registered address: 16 Shota Rustaveli St., Kyiv 01001, Ukraine.
1.2. For questions about personal data processing, write to survey@itccs-ukraine.org.
1.3. This Policy explains what data we collect, why and how we process them, and what rights you have. In case of discrepancy, the Ukrainian version prevails.
2. What data we collect
- contact details: email address and mobile phone number;
- socio-demographic characteristics: age, gender, region and type of settlement, education, employment and other information you provide in questionnaires;
- your answers to survey questions;
- technical data that may be automatically recorded by the survey platform: date and time of completion, completion time, device and browser type, IP address.
2.1. We do not collect bank card details, passwords or identity document numbers.
3. Why we process data
- to send you invitations to surveys that match your profile;
- to pay rewards for registration and survey participation;
- to check response quality and prevent duplicate registrations;
- to conduct academic and applied research and prepare aggregated analysis.
3.1. We do not use your contact details for advertising and do not sell them.
4. Legal basis
4.1. We process personal data on the basis of the consent you give in the sign-up questionnaire, in accordance with Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”.
5. Who may have access to the data
5.1. For analysis, survey answers may be shared with research clients and partners, including outside Ukraine, only in de-identified form, without contact details. Research results are published only in aggregated form, without any way of identifying individual participants.
5.2. To operate the Panel we use data processors acting on our behalf: the LimeSurvey online survey platform, mobile top-up services and email delivery services. They receive only the data needed to provide their service.
5.3. The survey platform's servers may be located outside Ukraine, including in the European Union.
5.4. We may disclose data at the lawful request of competent public authorities in cases provided for by Ukrainian law.
6. How long data are kept
6.1. Contact details are kept for as long as you are a Panel member. After you leave, we delete them within 30 days (once any rewards due have been paid).
6.2. Survey answers may be kept longer in de-identified form, without contact details, for research purposes.
7. Data security
7.1. We take organisational and technical measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration: only staff who need it for their work have access to contact details, and data are transferred over secure channels.
8. Your rights
8.1. Under Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”, you have the right to:
- know which of your data are processed, by whom and for what purpose;
- have inaccurate or outdated data corrected;
- withdraw consent and have your data deleted;
- object to the processing of your data;
- complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or to a court.
8.2. To exercise these rights, write to survey@itccs-ukraine.org.
9. Minors
9.1. The Panel is intended only for people aged 18 or over. If we learn that a questionnaire was completed by a minor, we will delete their data.
10. Cookies
10.1. The itccs-ukraine.org website does not use cookies to track visitors. The survey platform may use technical cookies needed to complete the questionnaire correctly.
11. Changes to this Policy
11.1. We may update this Policy. A new version takes effect when published at itccs-ukraine.org. Participants are notified of material changes by email.
